We had our coldest morning in 20 years yesterday and it was even colder this morning. The temperature involved a minus sign and that's cold anywhere!
Here are two ways I keep my fingers warm during these cold days and nights. Knitting keeps my fingers moving and a cup of hot drink provides something warm to clasp.

Sorry, "minus" in C is not actually cold "anywhere", says she from Michigan. Now "minus" in F, now that's cold.
Glad that as a quilter you always have insulation when you need it!

Since the freezing point of water is 0 degrees C (32 degrees F) I don't think it is unreasonable to say that temperatures below freezing point are cold. It's not a competition about whose temperatures are colder!
