Making life lovely 2

I find so much pleasure in my garden - and surprises! After today's storms had passed, I ventured outside for a brief break from work. What a lovely discovery - the first of this season's crop.

Perhaps I'll soon be pleading with friends to take surplus zucchini off my hands but when the first one appears, it's so thrilling.

Making life lovely 1

It's usually the small things that make life pleasurable. All the hard work and planning we do can sometimes make life seem like a treadmill but we all need a zing in our day.

So here's my way to make life lovely. I'll be sharing regular photographs of simple things that make me happy. If they make you smile, too, that's a bonus!

From my garden - gorgeous hydrangeas in delicate shades of blue.
